Frequently Asked Questions
Biokinesiology is a holistic approach to healthcare. It assesses the biochemistry of the body to ascertain from where symptoms arise. It assesses digestion, gut health and other aspects of body chemistry to detect intolerances, toxins, viruses or other issues that may be causing illness.
Biokinesiology uses a system of muscle testing to assess what is going on in the body. Muscle testing has been used for generations to assess the health of the body.
Please bring with you any medication or supplements that you are taking. We will discuss your symptoms and your current diet. I will ask you to lie on a plinth, fully clothed, and I will gently carry out non-invasive muscle tests on your body.
Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing (ideally trainers). You will have to lift your arms and legs for muscle testing.
A treatment usually lasts 60-90 minutes including consultation. Most clients require a follow up treatment, although improvement is generally felt after the first session. Most treatments are usually 4-6 weeks apart. Some people may only require one treatment whilst others may need 3 or 4.
It is usually necessary to remove that food from the diet for health to improve. For some it will only be for a short time while we strengthen the digestive system. For others the foods may need to be removed from the diet indefinitely. It is import to remember that everyone is unique and therefore there are no hard and fast rules.
Many of my clients are children and babies. It is possible to carry out the treatment via surrogate testing.
Following a treatment, I will provide you with dietary and lifestyle advice and often advise nutritional supplements, all of which will help improve your health. I alone cannot make you better, that is up to you! My advice is not restrictive or difficult to follow – Instead, small changes, done every day will make a big change to your overall health.
